Possible Disney College program rejection reasons? Thread starter TaraDactile7 Start date Mar 19, TaraDactile7 Earning My Ears. Joined Mar 19, Hey everyone! I was just wondering what may be some possible reasons the Disney College program would reject a candidate. Any ideas?? This program means so much to me. It would change my life in so many different ways and I can honestly say that I would be absolutely devestated if I got rejected.
I applied last Monday, later that day they sent me an email to do an online interview. About 30 min later, I got another email saying I was a strong candidate and they'd like me to schedule a phone interivew. I had my phone interview the next day I'm so excited, but after reading these sad stories about people being rejected, I'm getting even more nervous and I didn't evne think that was possible!
So what are some possible reasons Disney would choose to reject a candidate? Maybe it could be when they apply I didn't get in but I'm not giving up I'll definatly apply when they start up for the Spring season.
Joined Oct 9, I suspect there are probably a lot of possible reasons. A bad interview not sounding happy, just all over lousy interview would probably get a denial. What roles you agree to do can affect it as well.
After the Initial application I received a confirmation Email stating that I would hear if I qualified for the next stage of interview within 72 hours. Well low and behold as I was quickly approaching the end of the 72 hours when got an email stating that I qualified to take the Web-Based Interview.
I was totally shocked. I cried happy tears, and was honored that I had even made it that far. So after watching tons and tons of videos, reading lots of blog post, and stalking the social media pages of DCP alumni, I decided it was time to take the WBI Web-based interview.
I sat down at the kitchen table, got a grip of my nerves and took that interview. I know that there are a lot of people in the same spot as me right now that are very anxious so I just thought It would be helpful to share my experience this far. All I knew was that I loved Disney. My parents had gotten divorced when I was young and my mom worked three jobs to provide for my brother and I.
Disney had never really been an option for my family. I received the text above while I was in the middle of my social psychology class at George Mason University. My professor was going on and on about God knows what, and I was lost in thought, per usual. I immediately clicked on the link and registered for an account. Within 10 minutes, I had completed what was to be the first step of many in my application.
It basically asked for basic information about me, such as my college, major, what park I was applying to, and what my preferred roles were. My Marvelous Misadventures Join 36 other followers.
